Suranne Jones is set to appear in a new drama.
The former Coronation Street star, who recently featured in ITV1 medical drama Harley Street, is among the cast of forthcoming drama Unforgiven – and she gets to play the baddest of bad girls.
Suranne will portray character Ruth Slater, who is newly released from a 15-year spell in jail for the murder of two cops.
However, her life on the outside with her new beau – which is played by the former Hollyoaks, Casualty and Two Pints actor Will Mellor – comes under threat when the son of one of Ruth’s victims comes a-calling.
